Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this membership type, you must fulfil the following NMAS accreditation requirements:

• Evidence of recent competency assessment, at most six months.
• Hold professional indemnity insurance or have immunity in the workplace.
• Provide two letters of reference affirming your good character or equivalent evidence.
• Complete declarations on the NMAS Membership (New Application for Accreditation) Form.

• Assessment Completion Over 6 Months Ago: If your competency assessment was completed more than six months ago, we may need to reassess you before accrediting you under the NMAS Rules. In cases where more than two years have passed since training, re-training and assessment may be required.
• Already Accredited with Another RMAB: Dispute resolution professionals accredited with another RMAB can join to access Mediation Institute Membership benefits or choose specific membership plans based on their qualifications (see below plans for details.
